Maserati Maintenance
Hi- I'm researching Maserati and Porsche for a purchase. I've looked online for reviews and cost of ownership type data for Maserati without luck. I'm hoping the forum can assist.
Do '08 - '10 Gran Turismo and Quattraporte Maseratis have engineering issues like Bentley? Some Bentley models have to have the engine pulled to replace a sensor. Just poor engineering IMO.
Any averages on annual maintenance cost?
Thanks for insight...

I heard newer Maser is better. Older Maser around 5 yrs old are not reliable at all, similar to F car of same vintage.
Bentley is actually a lot more reliable than Maser IMO. Service cost is high though as you've said. Even a brake job requires a VAG computer.
Porsche is as reliable as a Toyota. You may get a RMS leak or broken coolant expansion tank but that's about it.

You are safe with 06 or newer. They are VERY reliable. Services are at 12,500 mile intervals and run about $1500.

I have an 05 QP and say that mine is very reliable. I daily drive it, and really have not had any major issues except for maintenance like brake pads, tires, oil change, filter, and alignment. oil changes need to be run about every 3k-5k and run about $140 for the oil/filter and the labor depends on who you take it to.
