    did you check the mileage limitations on the collectors policy, sometimes they have lower annual miles

    When I was shopping for a Maserati in California, only 2 insurance companies had rate cards (Geico and State Farm). The others all calculated the premium as X% of MSRP.

    Everyone has rate cards and loss info for Mercedes SL making it cheaper and easier to shop around for the best premium.

    Based on these 2 facts, I will say the Maserati will probably cost you more for insurance.
