I need your thoughts the Maserati GranSport
I have been searching around for and looking at pricing on several different cars. Through my searching I have came across several Maserati GranSport. I have seen them around $20K up to $40K. I wanna know you guys thoughts are on this car. Hows the durability on them? Maintenance costs? How are they as a daily driver?
Im curious to know for when my finances get back in order maybe in the next 6 months to a year maybe getting one. I for some reason actually like these. In case a few of you don't know, I used to drive a Lotus Eilse. Maybe a few of you can compare or contrast the two.
Thanks,
Corey

Maintenance expenses will be $$$ be prepared for plenty of breakdowns. Transmissions are glass.
It is vital that we work to a few golden rules. Always work in a small team. Keep a very low profile. Only deal with people who come recommended. And it's like selling anything else: washing machines, hand made shoes, blowjobs. As long as you don't take the piss people will always come back for more. And that is not to say we don't have that special kind of magic that makes two kilos into three. But never be too greedy.

Get a 6speed. You do NOT want to have to repair/replace the F1 style transmission. Get a 996 Turbo. Bulletproof engine/transmission, easy to mod, and wicked fast!

The pricing on those cars can be deceiving since they are kinda affordable to purchase. You have to remember that at that age there is no warranty and you are paying 90% the price of Ferrari parts and service. You should add a buffer for maintenance and "if something goes wrong". It's not surprising to see a repair bill be half the worth of the car! Oil change on my QP is $700 and 1 year service is $1700. If you need a new clutch it's $3500.
Other than that it's a great car.- Vik

Thanks, I had these prices in mind. I did know the oil change was that much. And I figured 4g's for clutch if need be.
If I find on around $25K I will be putting 5K to 8K down before financing the rest. Are there any companies that give these cars an extended warranty that arent stupidly over priced?
