Maserati Reliability
I am seriously considering purchasing a Quattraporte, but am nervous about reliability. There is no dealer close to me and was wondering if any of you could help alleviate my anxiety. For economic reasons, I will probably buy pre-owned which may effect my relationship with a dealer. ANy suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Buy an 06 or newer for sure though.EARNED, AND NOT GIVEN....

it shouldn't affect your relationship with your dealer. if anything they now have an additional service customer.
A bunch of gas powered italian, german, japanese, and american things with four wheels. On order is a bunch of the same, and previously I had a bunch of the same. Oh and I fly, tool around on boats, and have been known to ride motorcycles.

I had an 05 coupe and the F1 would stall in stop and go traffic and it would run hot (3/4) in summer traffic. I sold it and lost $15K, never again for me.

My 09 Gran Turismo S, has had no issues. Driven across the country at high speeds with ease. If you can get this model, you'll be amazed.
I can't speak for the other Maserati models and years. I never thought I'd own one.
