Quattroporte next?
I'm very pleased with my E55 right now and I don't plan on getting out of it anytime soon. But I was pondering, after reaching such a standard, what's next? I keep thinking, maybe it'll be time for a P car, or something, but I don't quite know what. I'm a big guy, so two doors have to be roomy, but I ran across a Quattroporte on the 101 near the 405 split the other day and it was just imposing and awe inspiring.
So I figured, why not get a real sports sedan? Anyone have first hand experience w/ the QP? Maybe in a couple of years I'd pick one up, who knows.
Is it maintenance heavy like a Ferrari? Reliable? Thrilling?
I also wondered, has anyone ever seen a modded one? Pics please!
Thanks.
xoxo.

Recently moved from MB (CLS) to Maserati (GT-S) myself. I still have the CLS, I havent touched it since I got the Mas last November, its still sitting in storage. Do a little more searching on this forum, and the net, you will find many modded QPs. The newer the Mas, the more reliable it seems...

For my daily sedan:
i went from 03 E55 to 04 E55 to QP sport GT
was an easy transition
then again i also missed the AMG so i picked up an E63 wagon for the wifey
20k miles later, i'm still happy!

QP's are great and is probably the sportiest sedan out on the market as we speak
there are quite a few aftermarket parts available for the car now as well, so improving it would only depend on how deep your pocket is
if you are in the LA area there are a few private mechanics that can and do great work on the car, whether it be scheduled maintenance or aftermarket parts
here's mine, not quite as cool as MTK's but it does the job

Just an idea, i don't know off hand but it is probably faster that your e55. I don't think you can go wrong with the QP though.
