Default A few megayachts and yachts in Auckland

Took a few quick pictures today when I was cruising around in my Landie at the megayacht wharf.

and a silly helicopter that crashed earlier in the day.

How on earth did the helicopter crash?

    Nice yachts.

The helicopter was lifting a Christmas tree I think to place it on the dock. Got caught up in the overhead lines.

Great yachts. Love the Landie as well.

Thanks! I've been getting a lot of compliments driving it around.

I'll snap some better ones of more yachts when/if I get the chance. Auckland is such a mecca for boating

Como is beautiful, its amazing how good a navy hull can make a boat look - just the damn maintenance on colored hulls though!

On a completely unrelated note, in Sydney I found it amazing how AMP had 2 downtown buildings next to each other.

x2, to many white hulls already, any color looks so great but you need a full time crew memeber(s) just trying to keep the salt and waterspots off it!

I am pretty sure they just pay to have their name up there, they don't actually own the buildings

That is some nice looking water. So much different than Huntington Harbor where I would launch out of. The Pacific Ocean in general.....bad.

Correct. They lease the outside of buildings the same way as the office space inside. Sometimes a company can actually own the building though but most likely not.
Don't argue with idiots...they will just bring you down to their level then beat you with experience!
