    Default Stupid Drug Runners

I stumbled across this article, and there comes a time when one must question one's sanity. I think it's time the fool who owns this boat upgrades to inboard engines... Enjoy.

I wonder if the props cavitate on the outboard side motors in turns.. shallow mount would pull the transom down to the inside of the turn and lift the outside of the boat! Youd have to have some big ole paws to push all those sticks at the same time!

They use outboards because of several reasons. One is not all are running at once so for backup, and another reason is because of ease of replacing them. There is a huge presence here of these boats, where I live is a main entry point for Europe.

This one belonged to a neighbor of mine. They bailed out of it on a run. Biggest and fastest ever caught here in Spain. Its 2100hp. Able to travel 2200 nautical miles. 70 knots and is 18 meters long. Holds 20,000 liters of gasoline and could hold over 10,000 kilos of whatever they haul.

Thats a Nissan Patrol besides the boat, its similar to a Nissan Pathfinder.

I dont remember if they beached it or bailed into another boat and high tide brought it up. But I think they did beach it as it is very common for them to do so when they are bailing, and they usually set them on fire. This one they just left. The police had a hell of a time getting it out. LOL These guys where all eventually caught by the way. Leader died few weeks before this in a motorcycle crash.

    video of it.

We hear these all the time here at night when they are haulin ass. We see the helicopters at night all the time also looking for them.
