Default Need some help. I'm over-heating..

2004 Sea Ray SD 220 with 5.0 MPI

I'm getting no water flow. Water pump and thermostat look ok.

    Any other ideas or help?

    Or engine diagrams..

    Thanks.

Probably the impeller on the water pump.

That is what everyone keeps telling me. But where is this at? I assume the lower unit but I can't find it. I'm sure I'm missing something easy.

95% chance of it being the impeller. Follow your water pick-up hose and it will lead you there. Google for diagram? It's an easy fix and if it is utterly destroyed, make sure you look for the missing fins as they will clog the system if you don't get them out. Quick and cheap change out at any service center.

Raw water pump should be on the starboard side lower, NOT in the outdrive. Unless your boat is Alpha Driven, what outdrive do you have. Bravo drives are not in the outdrive.

Sorry to go OT but was that your boat in your old Avatar? I saw it at the river this weekend.

Yes my old boat was my Avatar. Did you take any pictures? Please PM me your information as my boat was stolen last June. Please see picture to make sure as every west coast boating forum knows it's stolen.

Hey CC sorry for the confusion and false hope, this was a similar paint job but a smaller boat 25' +/-.
