    Default 27' Carrera w/ blown 565ci

Client of mine asked if I might know anyone intersested in this toy..

Recently completely rebuilt with the custom paint, full interior and a 913 hp whipple charged 565ci Paul Pfaff engine.

Says they were clocked at 90mph at half throttle in 2nd gear.

    Half throttle in 2nd gear?

Is it a 6-speed? lol Ive NEVER seen a 900+hp full inboard before... I thought I had seen EVERYTHING!

Nor have I seen a cuddy on a inboard like this.. Interesting setup for sure!

Yeah, this one is definitely different. No swim platform either. I guess you use that hot exhaust as a step when you need to get back in.
Supra made some cuddy cabin inboards in the 80's. Not really "go-fast" boats though.
As for the gearing...MB is the only boat I know of using a 2 speed transmission on inboards/vDrives. Pretty slick IMO, but I don't know where you'd get one to handle this kind of power.

Gotta love massive amounts of horsepower on anything though.

On second look...I think this is a vDrive. Looks like we're seeing the engine turned backwards and the stern wall on that engine pic. Would be interesting to know more about the transmission/vDrive set up.

Really? Why? Well you are from Canada so why would you like the red, white, and blue?!

Being around boats, this thing is definitely something unique. Wouldn't mind seeing more pictures of it and knowing what the exact setup is.
Don't argue with idiots...they will just bring you down to their level then beat you with experience!

When i said retarded I mean 913hp is retarded haha. I might be Canadian but I can appreciate a nice creative and patriotic paint job.

I want to know how a 5000# untrimmable drive inboard ski boat was able to hit 90mph at half throttle. Assuming 1lb of boost at that throttle setting.

The Square Root of (Total Shaft Horsepower / Weight ) x Constant = Speed

so Im coming up with (916hp/5000#)x an assumed constant of 185 = 79mph

Inboards just can NOT trim out enough to get enough boat out of the water to keep the prop running the RPM's you'd need to hit close to triple digits.. half throttle or not..

But Ive been proven wrong before, people do some ludicrous stuff on the water! Either way, I want to go for a ride in it!
