    Hello everyone.
I am new to this section and as an amateur inventor this is my new concept of body board for calm waters and motor racing speed. Is a mixture of jet ski and body board. The engine shown is indicative only for the video. Hope you like them. Indeed, the patent is for sale

    Ribs? Nuts.

You need to put some foot wells like the heel wells in a kayak, so riders can keep their crotch off the engine shroud. And you need to think of how you are going to keep the rider's body from flying up and slamming back down, like some kind of strap, but it must automatically release on crash or at will.

Looks like something that could be very stealthy for Navy Seals. However, fat people and women might have a problem riding that way.

Please take this as constructive criticism and do not take offense.
    - I believe "Jet Ski" is a registered trademark of the Kawasaki corporation.
    - Putting the engine in the rear will throw off weight distribution and cause it to bounce constantly in any sort of chop.
    - The PWC in the video has a very flat bottom which will create a harsh ride in any watercraft regardless of size or weight.
    - Even if the watercraft were redesigned to distribute more weight up front and create a deeper V in the hull I think it would be very uncomfortable for the rider compared to a traditional PWC. The seat of a traditional PWC allows the forces of gravity to be absorbed by the legs, hips, butt, and back which is somewhat natural. I don't think it would be so comfortable laying on the stomach.

I could see a military use as fnckr mentioned. It seems like it would be a great way to move quickly and stealthily up and down rivers at night if you designed it to keep engine noise at a minimum (electric?) It's probably a long shot and I'd think they would want to see a working prototype. I wonder if there are grants that might help you build a functional model?

I personally can't see a typical consumer choosing this over the existing PWC options, but if it's your dream and you believe in it you should follow it.

^This. There is no way i would put my body on that. Especially if other boaters could not see me.
