    Yeah, I want to see more pics too. I actually have a spare ski with less than 15 hours on the engine sitting in the workshop right now. I may paint it flat black with blood red trim.

    I'm curious about matte finishes...I had always "heard" that they were impossible to keep clean, that any knick or scrape required a complete respray of the entire thing, and even just touching them might leave fingerprint marks....

    Granted, it may all be misinformation, but educate me...how durable is a matte finish? Can you just wash it off after you are done on the water?

    Why paint instead of an easily repairable wrap... Especially on something that inherently will get dinged no matter how hard you try not to...

    some use a satin or matte clear coat so it still has the layer of protection a regular paint job would.
