    Default Waterline Stain Remover

Anyone know of a good product to remove stains from fiberglass hulls?

Rubbing compound and a lot of elbow grease or a machine.

Most waterline marks are soaked into the gel..wet sanding and a wax followup will do the trick.. Perfect Fall chore.

This may sound weird, but I always use toilet bowl cleaner on the bottom of my Jetski. It works quite well and doesn't leave any marks.

Nah, weve used it on boat bottoms before, works well for manganese rich waters.. But be prepared for a follow up wax and dont use it out on the lake..

good timely thread... kept our boat in the water the entire season for the first time and the hull is outrageously nasty... I have no idea how we are going to get it back to its pristine condition.

We had been planning on using some hull cleaner we found at wally world. Any thing wrong with that? (Its a 1983 fiberglass hull on a sailboat).
