    Default New purchase - Tige

My uncle just purchased a boat and my mom decided our family needed one too. Been looking around a while and today I closed a deal!
    2008 20v with a 340hp Vortec & 0 hours.

It needs a stereo & speakers but I'm happy doing a custom job myself.
This will be the first wake boat I get behind and I am PUMPED!
    Be about it.

Very nice boat. I rarely see Tiges here on the east coast. I don't think their dealer network is very strong over here. Maybe that's a business opportunity.

Ah, well I'll have to liven it up until then. Once all my audio gear arrives I'll try to get a build log going.

No ballast tanks, but when the times comes I'll add a fatsac or two.
For now I'll take the storage space over a ballast system.

    And thanks err'one!

The beauty of a factory ballast system is that it doesn't take any space in the cabin and it can be filled by the flip of a switch. You can't say the same for fat sacs.

My vDrive Nautique is an older model that doesn't have any factory ballast either. I run about 550 lbs of lead and one to two fat sacs depending on how many people are in the boat and how much time I feel like spending getting it ready. Sacs are a pain though IMO. I want a Wakesetter VLX pretty bad.
