Couple of Yamaha's we used to have.

My Sled. 05 600HO. Upgraded the riser to a 12" and added a 1.5" track also had an MBRP exhaust on it.

Who says you need a wave runner/jetski to have fun on the water?

You guys with the snow in your backyard have it made for winter fun, wow!
My wife and I have a pair of square nose Superjets with bolt-ons. Long live the stand-up! I also have a barn find 11' hydroplane built and raced in the 60s that I've customized to accept a standard short shaft Yamaha 30hp outboard so I could have push/pull steering, electric start, reverse and most importantly....neutral. With the custom propeller I had made for it, it's perfectly scary to drive. My folks bought the cabin in the pictures when I was 2 and I've been fortunate to grow up spending summers there. It's still my heaven on earth in summer.

The first pic my younger brother and friend are helping me get it off the lift! Sometimes when the tide isn't high enough it is a b*tch to get off!

They all are. It`s probably the HO. In all honesty, I have the SHO, the only reason I bought it was to be able to keep up with friends that have the SHO or Supercharged Seadoos. There is so much aftermarket stuff that owners should do to keep stock stuff from breaking.
The Supercharger has some issues with the shaft and clutch so an aftermarket bov might help. But usually about a thousand dollar fix once it breaks on you.
I had to change the intake grate on mine to prevent the slight possibility of getting un-expectedly thrown off the machine at 70+mph
Cooling system should also be upgraded or add crank case ventilation
etc etc etc.
So HO is the same engine with out all the forced induction issues. It should be a very reliable beast."You have enemies? Good. That means you've stood up for something, sometime in your life" -Winston Churchill
