Jet Set Speedboat - 180mph
I'm surprised no one on here has mentioned this (at least I didn't get any search results). This is a friend of mine's friend's boat. I kind of know his daughter but not real well.
It is a 40' cat with twin GE turbine engines. It tops out at 180mph, but I've heard through the grapevine that it tops 200 now. If he throttles up in neutral it shoots flames about 15 feet out of the exhaust pipes.
Here is the video of him. There are a few more I believe, including ones with the flames! (Sorry I'm at work now, can't watch videos to see which ones are which)

Yea, my friend who knows him told me he got new turbines put in it, just so he can claim the title of fastest boat on the east coast. Either way, over 150 mph is insanely fast on water haha

When he upgraded the turbines did he finally go to a crashbox with reverser and shaft brake? That boat was super cutting edge a few years ago, but got stuck having to run a single outboard for motoring around the dock and such because it didn't have reverse or shaft brakes. You can see the outboard, it's hidden under that goofy yellow cover between the turbine discharge pipes.

I love watching turbines, but from what I understand they are far from reliable.
Perhaps not so funny when cruising in the carribean.
