hahaha, almost ANYTHING.. a 47 should be listed as a performance cruiser in my book.. It takes absurd power to push that turd past 100. I could care less about how many beds, showers, etc you can cram into an offshore boat. Plus the cockpit space isnt any larger than anything else.
Ill take an OL over a fountain any day of the week. Staggered 1075s on 6's without the fag seating.

Last bit I read:
In a resounding victory for Reggie Fountain, a judge has allowed Fountain Powerboat Industries Inc. to reorganize and retain its assets after a hearing held in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in the Eastern District of North Carolina on Friday morning.
Bankruptcy judge Randy Doub ruled in favor of Fountain, allowing the world-famous performance boat builder to restructure its Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection and reorganize with the group Liberty Investments, which acquired both Donzi and Pro-Line earlier this year. Liberty will assist in financing the reorganization of the company and pay off its creditors.
Fountain owes nearly $20 million to the California-based Oxford Investment Group, which bought Fountain's bank note a few weeks ago. While the group intended to acquire Fountain's assets, it will now be treated as a creditor.
Company founder Reggie Fountain will be retained as president and CEO, and will continue taking boat orders for both Fountain and Baja brands.

Put me down as definitely not a fan either. The list of boats I would buy before a Fountain is LONG. I freely admit he has done much to further the sport, and advance the popular acceptance of stepped hulls, etc. But I'm not a fan of him or his boats . . .

Im a fan of "HIM" but not a fan of his boats. I love what hes done for the sport. And as with any celebrity, theres no such thing as "bad publicity".. Watch the Cat Killer video below and you can see creative editing and his marketing strategies at play.
