Our Lake (GLOC) E-Dock
I recognize a few usernames between the few forums I visit so I thought Id post some familiar faces up here..
Budweiser Select Raceboat (ran 217mph with different motors)
Just left MTI in St. Louis after repowering with Merc Racing 1075's on surface drives (rudder boat) and converting the hull for pleasure use.
2007 MTI 44' w/ Custom Hydraulic Tilt Trailer (no more wide load issues) and matching Rockstar Freightliner.

Soooooooooo SICK! Did you guys ditch the canopy and floor escape hatch?
BMP Surface drives?
I got a chance to see Hellfire in person and i'm still trying to pick my jaw up off the floor. That boat must have an 08 gallardo just in airbrush work.
1075 is a great reliable motor. I'm more of a turbine man myself, if I had 7 digits to spend on a play boat that is. But a pair of 1075's in a 36' Nor-Tec would make me smile for 1/2 the price.

Our lake is a little curvy for turbine power. As cool as the "idea" of turbines are, "I" still think they are completely impractical for everyday use. Our idle area to get to the main body is a 10 minute idle.. In a turbine, you'd be deaf, broke and empty on fuel by the time you got to the good water!
As far as the rockstar boat, it still has ALL of the raceboat ammenities. Escape hatches on top x2, one floor escape hatch, on-board oxygen, headsets, 5 point harnesses and seatbelt cutters..

Turbines have their place, great in open water or big lakes.
From what i've seen they aren't super nutty loud when you're in the boat. Yes they are thirsty, using a ton of fuel at idle and getting better when you're up to speed. At least they run on cheap diesel and not 110-116 race fuel like the big piston power. With a crashbox and shaft brake they aren't impossible to dock anymore either.

Im still missing a couple of the other cats. Theres a white 36' Skater Classic
This one:
YouTube - 36' Skater LOTO Shootout who is INCREDIBLY fast but Ive not spent any time on the boat and dont have any pics of it that are worth showing. I have hundreds of pics of all the E-Dock boats (yes, they are all on the same dock in OKLAHOMA!) if anyone wants to see more of any of them.
