Visit your boat and film on it? Just walk arounds...trying to capture some footage of beautiful boats, sailing or otherwise, that sort of epitomize the lifestyle.

Not hankering for a free ride on your boat...just the opportunity to get on some and film.

Cant help you with SoCal, but what about SoBe or Chicago ? A friend of mine owns a 123ft Oceanfast that he keeps in South Florida or Saint Maartens during the winter months, and it will be back here in Chicago in May I believe. I can ask him if he would allow you to film on it if those locale's work for you. If so, I would also need to know more about how and where the footage would be used.

My father lives aboard a 65' foot classic Steven's in NoCal. I also know most of his friends on or around his dock. Couple Hatteras', nice large sailboats among many others. If you want to come up north, I can set something up for you. I am in Seattle so I would either come down or introduce you to a few people through my stepmom and dad. Let me know.

I would be delighted to partake of any offers. I'll PM you both within the next two weeks, as I'm in Chicago doing the Auto SHow.

The footage would be for a piece being done for a web project profiling the cross over appeal to affluent car owners and how they enjoy certain lifestyle components. For their troubles, I'd be delighted to whip them up a quick video spun in any fashion they'd like as a keepsake.
