    Not personally. Did busniness with his rental company when I was in construction. The guy I rent our warehouse from knows him well and talks about that boat all the time. I was hangin on when we hit 70 in our Donzi, can't imagine what thats like

    It's like ..... I actually can't explain it. 70mph is fast as you know once you get to 120 mph everything is happening so fast it's like an out of body experience. Seems like a game like if you die you just get another try. It's hard to explain like I said but it's fun.

    This was the last time I saw it run. He died in it a few weeks later after crashing into another boat at texoma.


    That was a very sad accident that changed the performance boat world for all of us. That boat was called Flash Gordon and It crashed with another boat called Nashville Catz and those people died as well.

    Yep that was Gordon Mieno's old boat. A high school and college friend of mine lost his life along with his wife on the boats last voyage. Terrible day in the world of powerboating, and just goes to show how short life is
