Thread: HELP --- need to sell a boat NOW!

L4P,

I have listed this a few times around the net but now its seriously on. My has offered me a cash incentive if i can sell/move/get rid of for close to what he is asking...

So does anyone have any conections, ideas, hookups, or know someone looking to buy a boat/sell it for me/broker/etc ???

2004 Bayliner 305
31.5 feet long
Twin 5.7 Mercruiser Stern Drives (260 hp each) - 72 hours on motors!!
A/C and Heat
Full electronics package
Cierra Options Package from Bayliner (spotlight, outdoor shower, stereo, etc)
Custom installed Plasma TV & DVD players.
Sleeps 6 (4 very nicely)

Asking $67,500.00

i'd love to help as I've been in the boat biz and the ones I have now are listed 100k below every1 else and still have not moved. You won't move that boat for half the asking price

my dad's boat has been on the market for a while now too and it's been horrible. I'll spread the word though.

Jon - Unfortunately Jason is right boats are a hard sell in winter in the first place, but I think your going to have to take a major hit in order to move it!

Guys, thanks so much for the feedback.

Not really anything i didnt know (we have sold about 20 boats over the years) but def some steps in the right direction....

Sticker on the boat was $105,000 and its BARELY used so i think our asking is reasonable at $67,500.

what would he let it go for? No clue. But not 33 grand i can tell you that.

If you are willing to try market in Finland these guys import boats from USA Motorboats and Sailboats – International Brokerage :: VINCES OY, The Boat Company (just switch the language to English)
