French designer Philippe Starck has revealed some of his designs for the upcoming urban hotel and spa Rosewood Sao Paulo, Brazil, a project that will open 2018- and the interior looks amazing.

Collaborators for the hotel include renowned artists such as Beatriz Milhazes and Saint-Clare Cemin, who will assist in designing the 114 privately-owned suites and 151 guest rooms.

Starck has been working on the project for seven years, but boy does it pay off - the result is stunning. His process involved visiting Brazil to grasp the country’s art, materials and speak with local suppliers and craftspeople.

The result is a seamless combination of rich wood, marble and plenty of earthy tones for the walls and furniture. We can’t wait to see the final result when the hotel and spa is up and running!
