Italian architect Piero Lissoni will begin construction on his first full-scale project in the United States in 2017 – the luxurious Ritz-Carlton Residences in Miami Beach.

Lissoni has penned furniture, restaurants, company headquarters, hotels and private residences, among much more, and is know for his light, minimalist designs. His signature style is largely at play in the Ritz-Carlton Residences, with each unit designed by Lissoni to make the occupant feel connected to the outside world even when they are indoors.

The modern development will consist of 111 condo-style residents and 15 freestanding villas ranging in size from two- to four-bedrooms. Prices are expected to range from $2 million to over $40 million, with the villas ranging from $4 million to $7 million. Each unit will include bespoke Lissoni-designed bathrooms and kitchens and feature unique stone and woodwork not often seen in the Miami region. Residents will enjoy amenities similar to those offered in a Ritz-Carlton Hotel, including but not limited to a pool terrace, a spa, a fitness center and private marina.

Construction on the Ritz-Carlton Residences, Miami Beach will be complete in the second quarter of 2017.
