I own a 2010 John Cooper Works Mini too.
Even slammed, a Mini is still higher off the ground than a Lotus and has a softer ride.
The Lotus was born a racecar and it feels like it, sitting on the ground.
It is the most fun car to drive. That's why those of us who own them, love them.

I still maintain that an Elise SC is a better way to go than an Exige S.
The Elise is just *soooo* much easier to DD, and with the SC you make up the power.Damen Knight

Yes, the exige s is a blast around town, or even a supercharged elise. The standard elise & exige (non-s) while great in the handling dept, are underpowered in my opinion. Again, this is a vehicle that you make comprimises when driving, like lack of creature comforts, crappy radio, etc, but if your a true sports car person, its the most fun for the money out there. I miss driving them.
