5 new Lotus models by 2015
Lotus has 5 new (1 being redesigned Elise) coming out by 2015.
They are aiming at Ferrari/Mas & will have a model that cost $175,000.
CEO has some heavy hitters on his design team as well.
Wow, I must say I'm impressed !
If anyone would like to read the article, pick-up the new (January 2011) issue of Car & Driver.

Don't remind me... I hate where Lotus is going....
I'd be content with a line-up like this:
Elan - entry-level Mazda MX5 competitor
Elise/Exige - no direct competition
Esprit - Gallardo/458 competitor (with a stick, damn you)2011 Honda CR-Z EX (Milano Red/6MT)

From what I have seen I am liking the direction they are going. They have to move with the rest of the world and make what sells. Just not enough people to stay a flot otherwise.
A foolproof method for sculpting an elephant: first, get a huge block of marble, then you chip away everything that doesn't look like an elephant.
