Saying that the Evora is a supercar, is just like saying the Corvette is. The Corvette, Grandsport, and Z06 are Sportscars. The ZR1 may be a supercar, but not the base model. The NSX isn't a supercar in terms of performance either.

The Evora is the M3 of the lotuses. A big step up, but its no Esprit (the new one)

Im proud to say my mustang is an exotic.. in Europe.
Those terms always make me laugh.. Exotic, Supercar, hypercar.

a lotus is not a supercar, and shouldnt be characterized as one...at least IMO

The Evora lost to a Porsche Cayman, I believe in an older Road and Track. However, winning or losing, the fact that it was considered in the same class as a Cayman, makes it just a nice sportscar. Even Porsche's, I wouldn't consider anything less than a Turbo or GT3 a supercar. I may be slightly biased in that second regard though.

I do characterize the Esprit as a super car. At one time it was a Ferrari killer.

"bargain basement" ferrari killer. not really a match for the big dog ferraris.

but that being said..i love that car...little v8, twin turbos and sub 3000lb weight= fun car.

that car and i are two ships passing in the night...when i am in the market for a car..no good ones are on the market...when I am not...all the nice ones are for sale.
