That said, the more people call the car slow, the more I want to get the paint to be a dick

should I also mention that my past cars have been features in movies, and that my lotus will almost certainly also be (my wife's is..).. so looks DO matter at least a little bit
None were stock, I didn't say they were.

What movie? The Fast and the Curious? lol

    valid point.

You get the lag/delay from a centri, just like a turbo, but turbo will benifit from more power and realiability, b/c it doesnt take power to make power.

Y wont u turbo the car? its basically free hp.

despite driving a lotus, I'm a torque junky. And since I mostly drive on the street, 0-60 is way more important to me than top-end. so a twin screw supercharger makes a lot of sense.

the BWR kit will take me from ~160 at the wheels to ~220. When I move up to the VF stage 1 (which is mostly just a pulley swap/tune change), I go up to 280 at the wheels. If I decide I want stage 2 I'll go to 295.

The VF kit runs like 7.5 psi.. I think the BWR kit is 4, but I dont immediately recall the number.

yeah, supposedly will be a bit quicker 0-60 than a 911 turbo (with the VF kit, that is). good enough for me
