    Default Spyshots: Lotus Exige V6

New versions of the Lotus Elise and Exige are in the making. According to Autocar, a new V6 powerplant could be included onto the option list. The Exige shown on the picture has widened wheel arches and increased cooling.

Lotus has the Evora’s Toyota-sourced V6 powerplant available. If added to the Exige, it would raise its weight beyond the 1000kg level. But it would also offer more power and torque than the car’s current four-cylinder powerplant.

I am of the firm belief that Toyota should be using Honda engines. What I'd do for an Si-powered Exige . . .

Honda sourced K series or F series would be the business. I'm not sure the F would work though...
