    Question School me on Loti

    Is Loti plural for Lotus?

Anyway, looking possibly at picking up a garage/track queen. Looking around $30k which I see plenty of '05-'06 Elise's around. What to get, what to avoid, step up SC model?, servicing (I'm a few hours away from a Lotus dealer), ...

Right now I'm debating either CTS-V daily, or keeping a beater/truck/SUV hauler and buying something track worthy. I was in a nice '02 Z06 a couple weeks ago but I'm not much of a Vette guy. :/

I guess what I'm looking for is what's the best year to buy, what to avoid, and look for.

ok if u can get a 2006, or newer, go for it

the 2006 models have a few small but worth it upgrades from the 2005

but if you are thinking about doing forced induction, a 2005 might suit you better

if you have any specific questions u can ask me, i used to own a 2007 exige s

and 5 11 170 is NOT too big for a Lotus, a few owners i know are passed 6ft tall and a couple def out weighs you

esp if its gonna be for a fun/track car, its all good!

Did they make an '05 Elise with a s/c? I would like to have one with a s/c as I've heard the n/a cars are really slow.

Im 5 11" 180 and I fit fine with room to spare. I would try and find an S model exige. Its already supercharged and if you plan to track it you will want the extra power. Trust me I am on my second aftermarket supercharger lol
You can tune an S very easily for additional power.
