    Default almost a Lotus.. Vauxhall/Opel VX220

    EDITED DUE TO NETCARSHOW CRAPPY LINKS NOT WORKING PROPERLY

    Fantastic little cars.. blistering pace too !!





    Performance wise were talking :
    # 2.0i Turbo 16v engine
    # 220 bhp @ 6300 rpm
    # 210 lb·ft@ 4800 rpm
    # 0-60 mph in 4.2 seconds
    # Top speed 153 mph

    But there are loads of tuning stuff out for these engines to get them to 400bhp (although that wouldnt be very safe )

    i wonder how much work, time and money it would cost to convert an Elise to a Vauxhal?
    switching out all the body clams and panels...

    it would be quite rare and would look pretty sweet!

    I've been a fan of the vauxhalls for years - ever since I first saw the vx220 on top gear
    it's a shame you cant get them over here
