Default How quick is the Exige?

I was driving to Krav Maga when I pulled up next to a Lotus Exige. I was sitting next to him thinking the guy wouldn't do anything and all of a sudden he hits a little bit. Caught off guard I got on it, but he had already let off. Anyway I rolled passed him and thought it was all over, but then I saw him coming up on me pretty quickly so I put the truck into 2nd and sits next to me for a couple seconds then takes off. This time I pull about a car on him and let out. 2nd gear @ 60 mph is a sweet spot for my truck, but I still thought the Exige was faster than that. Maybe it was driver error?

Never underestimate the low speed power of a truck; in this case, torque beats horsepower.

Plus, magazine figures never play out that way in real world situations.

I've gotten pulled on on my R6 by a Ford Lightning, but once I was hitting the powerband in first, I was pulling him fast; but at that point, the next light/traffic meant I had to start getting on the brakes.

if its a NON-S exige it only rocks 190HP but if it was an S...different story

plus the cars a quick off the line, once rolling a lot of cars can keep up with them especially a supercharged V8 LOL

    wish u got a vid

    The S depends on the year. 2007 was 220hp, 2008 was 240, 2009 is 260 (stock, anyway - a flash will take the 2007 or 2008 up to 260)

the non-S is only 190, as was mentioned.
