    Default 2011 Lotus Evora

    Hey everyone,
I am 18 years old and currently drive a VW CC Sport Turbo. I never formally introduced myself because I have been waiting on some black rims to come in so I can at least say I have some mods done to the car. Anyways, My father, brother, and I went to the New York INternational Auto Show and my father fell in love with the Evora. We ventured out to Auto Sport Designs on Long Island which was a solid 2 and a half hour drive for us and test drove both the '12 auto and '11 stick. Just today the owner contacted us giving a pretty good deal on a red '11 Evora stick. It would be really helpful to hear if there are any downsides to buying an '11 vs '12 and basically if you know anything about it. I have done some research but do not know first hand.

Here is the link to the car, if you could help us out it would be much appreciated....
    Thanks!

The MY12s have a lot of little improvements including fit and finish inside. As for drivability and reliability you will be fine either way. I am in love with my MY11 and do not regret waiting for a MY12 one bit.

If you have any specific questions or want to chat about it drop me a PM and I'll answer everything I can.

Thanks my friend! I will surely do that. We might purchase one late summer early fall so I will drop you a line before the next time we go up there. Thank you so much!

As said before there are many minor differences, you cant really search on the web to find them. You have to sit in both and understand the differences yourself. I like the 12 better but I would go for the 11 if the 12 was auto.

    Good luck mate!

I agree with this completely. The IPS is nice sure... but I love the way this car drives manual. I think it - it does it.

I can't get over the fact that it's a Camry engine....drove one last month and wasn't impressed. To each his own.
