Inmo Franks car isnt half the car he thinks it is. It is easy to impress and scare people along a windy, narrow canyon road. Hell my Bentley scares people in the canyons and people are suprised how fast it is.. Lets put that car on a public dyno, Ill pay for it.. Lets get a vbox on it.. Ill pay for it.. Lets see how good Matt Farrahs knowledge is of cars and actually race his car against a 900Hp Nissan GTR... Hell I even offered to race Frank in my lightly modded 997TT which he yet again declined, just as he declined racing my Twin Turbo Gallardo which we were to get together with, along with our mutual third party friend for a few filmed roll on runs..

So basicly, unless you go along with everything Frank says, according to him.. youre a ****..

I too respect what has been done to that car. Would be great to see how it can really perform at a race course/drag strip/or VBox run. I even got a ride in it and looking back would probably not do that again. It has to do with how Frank drives in these canyons. It is ok to drive 'spirited' and have some fun, but it is not ok to use these canyons as a race course. That car has such high limits and thus faster speeds, Frank just drives to fast IMO. He might be in control most of the time at the limit, but there are just to many variables and things that can happen that would endanger the driver, passenger and others on the road. If you want to race take it to the track.

This thread blew the up quick. Glad Ronin is ok but from videos I've seen and posts I've read he really does need to tone it down a bit.

no, it's because you drive a convertible...and own a malibu v6. also, you were dumb enough to buy the 2010 with a 4.6 right before the new 5.0, and clearly don't know shit about cars.

nobody else on the planet thinks an elise is a girl's car; it's a hardcore track car that has no glovebox or traction control

An Elise a hard core track car? I dont think so.. An Exige maybe.. But an Elise no..

No need to bash each others cars... Everyone here is an enthusiast and that's all that really matters.

Ha! Actually I searched out a convertible because I always wanted one. I don't track it and I can use it year round in Houston, so why not? I have a V6 Malibu because I paid $3900 and its a great gas saver for trips, and I bought a 2010 because a 2011 spec'd how I wanted it was going to cost over $10k more than I paid and for a fractionof that, I can tune my car to smoke the 5.0, even in a convertible.

Little do you know, I know lots of shit about cars and don't care about the elises track performance. You can tune a VW bug with pink flowers on the dash to run 11 second 1/4 mile, but its still a chicks car.

I like the Exige a bit better but love the Evoras.

I'm glad Ronins ok. That's what everyone should be worried about.

There is absolutely no reason to put down other peoples rides, and it disgusts me. Everybody has different taste and different interests in cars.
