    And no, he's not easy to talk to apparently, 1st day on R8talk huffin n puffin about getting an R8 GT and then not getting one (coz of spring rate, lol) he was chewed off the board as well. GG x 2.

    Slicks on public roads makes you a wannabe race car driver. Anyone with half a brain knows its dangerous due to the soft compound being very easily punctured and the fact you would never get enough heat in them to produce additional traction benefit.
    Theres a reason they are illegal on public roads. Lastly if it rains you are fucked.

    Not just rain. I've had plenty of times when I've been hauling ass on some canyon road, come around a corner to find water on the road and clinched my ass really tight, hoping not to spin out. Plus it's just plain illegal.
