Default Light vibration at around 70 m/h?

Its hard to say whether I'm just over concerned about nothing but at about 70 m/h i get a very light vibration in the steering wheel. I drive a 2007 sport supercharged. There is not dirt on the inside of the rims so that is not my issue. I have only owned it for about two months so maybe my senses are just heightened. I feel like the wheel should be perfectly still at that speed though. Any input/ things to look at? (i sure don't mind crawling underneath to take a look around) Also i have not hit any curbs or miss aligned the wheels in that way.

    thanks

Take it to a tire shop and have it re-balance to make sure.

Agree with all statements above, you either need a balance or you have a bent wheel. Take it to your tire shop they should def be able to figure it out.

I believe the "steering wheel shimmy" is an inherent problem with the RRS from 2006-2009. There is a lengthy TSB released by Land Rover regarding this issue. Take a look into If your problem still exists after having your wheels re-balanced. I have the TSB but can't attach it due to size restrictions.

I am now looking into some of these TSB for my year and I've also noticed one for the knocking in the steering column, something that i have noticed in my vehicle (and another one that i had test drove). Are these things that land rover will pay to have corrected? has anyone had this problem corrected?

mine is in the shop as i write this for same issue. I have new aftermarket 22"s on it so it just takes a little while to balance out all the wheels. nothing to worry about.
