    If you are out of warranty the repairs will be on your dime. Is the "knocking" sound you are referring to more of a shuttering/oscillating knock from your front end when you hit a small bump? If yes, the possible cause can be from your Dynamic Response System if you have it on your ride (over sensitive response from the system). There is a TSB out on that too. A software update for the DRS should fix it.
