Let me introduce myself....Hello L4P guys-N-gals....
Hellllo, My names Paul. I have been a long time lurker here always coming in and seeing what Platinum puts together for their Rovers as well as the guys over at RDB. I'm a long long long time VW owner, been through GTI's, R32's, Beetles, Touaregs, Cabrios, and some air-cooled Beetles, on the hunt for a T1 Microbus as we speak. I have always been a Rover nut. Since birth I've had a little girl/Justin Beiber obsession for Land Rovers & Range Rovers. It has always been a dream of mine to own my own Rangie....Well that day came on 11-11-11 when I purchased my 2006 zambezi silver Vogue HSE. Now as most of my cars have only been stock for a few weeks the same regiment goes for my Range Rover. I've already done a few small things like tints, de-badged the tailgate, rubber floor mats, replaced all the original green/beige logos with the new black/silver ones. I'll be acquiring parts over the winter for the BIG build coming in June-July.
Here is the plans....
*2012 front end conversion
*2012 taillights
*Matte Grey 3M vinyl wrap
*Brembo big brake upgrade
*Startech front lip, side skirts & rear valence...also torn between the ONYX widebody kit & the Kahn RS kit.
*Interior revamp
*Wheels...still undecided, some Rotiform 22" concaved BLQ's with a thick tire or 24" Agetros or something else. I have time to shop on that.
*There will be pink somewhere, somehow in there on this truck.
So that is just a little verbal teaser of my X-mas check list that I will be completing over the winter and then finally putting into reality once the warmer weather hits, I'll keep a blog going of the overall process on the truck updated with pictures of the build as well. So stay tuned.

Here is my last project vehicle, my 2007 GTI with a crap ton of work. My motto of modding is clean, simple, but yet still outrageous...just not to the naked eye. -Paul.

HaHa, long time no see buddy. I miss the RS's. I was going to get a 2012 Beetle and do some 19" RS's or 18" super RS's with it bagged to the ground but came across the Rover and couldn't say no.

You figured out who will be doing your conversion? Have you looked into how you will wire in the 2010+ headlights and tail lights? If you need any help give me a shout. I have been through it.
P.S. Here is my build thread if you haven't already checked it out...

mcanzio I have read your conversion thread front to back, the only thing I'm up in the air about right now is I am honestly leaning towards the ONYX kit so I'm thinking the only pieces I'll need are the headlights, wiring, the re-bar(crashbar) & whatever brackets I'd need to make sure the bumper and headlights aline up perfectly.

Hello and Welcome!
If you need help with the 2012 Front End Conversion let us know... We have done several including MCANZIO (Sergio's) Conversion and are pretty well covered...
As far as going with ONYX vs Startech... Its a toss up. We have done many STARTECH trucks here and they just look down right amazing...
Another kit you should consider is the KAHN Aero Package...

I do really like the Kahn kit but I'm iffy on the rear exhaust as well as how the front end looks. Beautiful kit but I want to still obtain a more rugged look with my Rangie. Startech....well...it is just down right beautiful, everything about the kit is clean and simple. Revere puts a beautiful kit out for the RR's as well...UGH. So many decisions haha.

Welcome to the 4! Can't wait to see the transformation of your Rover. Please take pictures and document every step! I am a big Rover guy as well, even though I don't have one right now. Have had three (2006, 2007, 2007) before getting into the cars. Definitely go with 24's, not 22's. I had 24's on mine and it fit perfectly! Looking forward to seeing yours!
