Spyshots: 2013 Range Rover in Dubai Desert

Land Rover is planning the release of a new version of their Range Rover. The SUV has been spotted numerous times over the past few weeks, we even came across the luxury 4×4 at the Land Rover workshop near the Nurburgring on Saturday.
One of our readers spotted two test mules of the 2013 Range Rover in the desert near Dubai, UAE. The two SUVs were accompanied by a current Range Rover Vogue.

I cant really see any difference besides what looks like shorter overhangs on the rear on the camouflaged ones.

So I guess everyone who bought a 2010 to 2012 RR full sized is going to get screwed like those who owned the 2002 P38A. Since they say this new model has an all aluminum chassis thats 30% lighter than the current model (better 0-60/ gas mileage / power to weight ratio) I think it'll sell better than the last model. This is why I'm thinking about the RRS instead. At least it'll be in for a few years but even that is really an LR3 with a bigger motor deep down inside.

Glad to see that it looks like they're keeping it fairly similar in design... don't need to change a good thing too much. Can't wait to see it unmasked!

Bought my 2010 RR new because I wanted to... and with the likelihood that the 2013 will be larger in size (i.e. - worse approach/departure/breakover angles) and the current generation has had most of the kinks worked out, the 2010 fit the bill.
The GF may have forced me to buy it though...
