Rover under 20k?
Hey guys,
Looking to buy my little brother a car for his upcoming birthday.
He already got into an accident in my A6 when I let him use it so I don't have high hopes for this car. I was just going to get him an Audi but he loves Range Rovers.
I looked on eBay and it seems like you can get 2006 ones for around 20k give or take. Just an example here: Land Rover : Range Rover | eBay
What are people's experience with 2006 Ranges and is spending 20k for a 2006 realistic to get a good car that's most importantly safe and also won't run into problems.
Also would a 2004 be a better deal if I didn't want to spend over 20k give or take?
Cheers!

LOL! Thanks. From what I've been reading the past few minutes it seems '06 models are prone to having problems. I know I'll be the one paying for all the repairs too.

I think his little brother would probably enjoy actually driving the car as opposed to having it in the shop most of the time. I would not touch an older Maserati without having clear expectations for the maintenance.
How about an 04 Cayenne. They run roughly around 16-20
