    Default 2006-07 Range Rover Sport....Reliable?

Had a 2004 Range Rover which proved to be a nightmare.

Can anyone comment on a newer sport. I would lean towards a 2007...

    Any TRUE experience would help!

I'm not sure about 2006-07, but our 2008 has had zero problems. If you can, I'd get a 2008 to be safe; my understanding is that minor issues were fixed by then.

I concur with keiphers. I had a 2008 as well and I didn't have a single issue as well. I was skeptical about getting it after hearing all the horror stories, but I was surprised by its reliability.

I had an 06 RR Sport Supercharged and I had two things go wrong, which were replaced/repaired under warranty.

    1) Air Suspension Compressor
    2) Rear door Hatch

If you're thinking about purchasing, I say go for it, but if it's possible, purchase with a 3rd party warranty. Other than that, its the most comfortable suv/truck I've ever owned or ridden in.

Have an '06 with 70k and worked for LR for 2 years 06-08. No problems. RRS is built on a totally updated platform from the fullsize vogue. They are awesome cars and would recommend to anyone. Market is good now Oldmoney.

I have a 07 RR and besides normal service work the truck has been great. Go for it.
