Default MY 2012 Range Rover Sport Spec changes released

A little discouraged as I just picked up my 2011 RRS SC two weeks ago, but thought I would share this information with you guys.

There will always be a latest and greatest, the 2011's will still be the king of the road for a couple more months

I am happy with what I have. I did want the upgraded sound as my BMW's sound system kills my RR. And the power tailgate, I mean come on, 80k and no power tailgate! LOL. Oh, and for all the customizers on here, painted door handles stock now!

most changes on new models have been on diesel versions (Euro Spec, for what I've read) so the Petrols V8's in the states should be the same as the MY2010. (apart from little significant things)
as far as the sound system is concerned I guess they haven't changed that much on the 2010 RR Sport since 06. While on the Full Size Range Rover the 1200 WATT system introduced in 2010 is superb! Superior to any other stock car I've ever been into.

if you can't handle these debatable upgrades now, you're going to wanna drive your rrs off a cliff when the real new model comes out dude. it never stops.

Or trade it in, which is what I plan on doing , of course waiting for the second model year so that any major bugs are fixed - that'll be 5 solid years of use of my 2011, which is perfect timing! I agree though about the current upgrades; I'm not sure if I would want a power tailgate if it gives up the dual-opening functionality.

I don't think you're giving up on much... The split tailgate on the Range Rover Sport sucks. The one on the full size model at least makes sense. the one on the sport? Not so much.

I use the split functionality more often than not. I don't see how it "sucks". A bit dramatic, no?

The upper part of the splitting (the one for the daily use) is ok! The lower part, to me it just doesn't make sense! (Maybe I'm a fan of the full size Range Rover, but it isn't only me who had that opinion about the Sport's tailgate)
