Wow, gorgeous! But, I'm skeptical as to how this is in the U.S... That's definitely not a U.S. plate. I'll call tomorrow and get some answers, as that thing is incredible.

I just called but got no answer (probably timing - I'm on the East Coast). Anyways, how is this truck in the U.S.,i.e. was it converted to U.S. spec by Land Rover? The registration looks like a foreign tag (diplomat or something?), so would this even be legal for a U.S. citizen? The truck itself is amazing - I'm just skeptical as to its credentials. The eBay auction says 1980 Defender 100, so is this maybe a fully restored and retrofitted 1980?
