Default 2011 Range Rover Sport by Merdad Collection

Merdad Collection has announced a brand new tuned Merdad Range Rover Sport. The British tuner has translated his signature design into the 2011 Range Rover Sport Models. The program includes exterior and interior refinements and wheel kits.

The exterior program comes with wider wheel arches, newly designed side skirts, rear and front bumpers conversions, new front and two side grills meshed, which includes the Merdad Lion crest in its centers. The bonnet with air vents and newly developed exhaust system with four end tips complement the program.

It's not too bad; I look forward to seeing the hood... I'm not a huge fan of the vents in the wheel arches. The rear bumper isn't too bad; it's like a slightly toned down version of the Mansory rear. The only thing I don't like is how the lower portion/add-on sticks out a bit. Here's a link to their gallery: Merdad Collection (no shots of the front up yet).

I'm just glad more tuners are getting into the RRS game...

B4 plunking down money, I'd seriously need someone to take a look at every part and piece and how it fits together.

Especially in those areas where dirt, water, debris pile up over time. Was this kit "engineered" with any sort of consideration given to real world usage? Or is it typically for those who sunny weekend their sport utility vehicle?

Else, it's all emperor's clothing here.

All of these companies outside of Kahn, Revere, Overfinch, feel a bit too fly-by-night to spend five figure money on. Heck, you even get complaints about these LR aftermarket stalwarts. It's too bad we don't have a Techart to Porsche type vendor for Range Rovers. Their stuff is solid.

Now I'm wondering for the kits with the wider arches which then require wheels with offsets that push the contact patch further out... it has to work them wheel bearings and other suspension components really hard, no? Even with aftermarket wheels on stock arches, you gotta consider this change in parameter
    .
    Shonuff, looks good, though.

How much are the rims and where can we get them? I like both styles especially the 22 inch five-spoke concaved rims.
