Default Invoice on 2011 RR SC

So just as a quick background story I have an 04HSE which is having problems so I want to switch to a sport supercharged. Now just using google I found out that the invoice was 54-67k I'm assuming the difference between a regular sport and the super charged one, does anyone know the official invoice price of the vehicle, because when I talked to the dealership they first said yeah well sell you the car for 69 something like 1,500 over invoice no options. Now it looks like that number isn't good enough anymore, I saw on a paper what it seemed to be a new number 71,867 and they are claim that's the real number above invoice and the 67 I found didn't include adervtisment and some other crap making it an unrealistic number. In all honesty if you ask me this is all bullshit and they just wanted to lure me into the dealership under false pretenses, hence why I'm asking what the real number is.

I'm not sure where you got that pricing, but that's definitely just for the HSE. My '11 RRS S/C was $82k invoice, fully-loaded besides rear seat entertainment.

This site says the MSRP for the S/C is $74k: 2011 Land Rover Range Rover Sport Supercharged SUV Prices | New ?11 Land Rover Range Rover Sport Supercharged Sport Utility Price List & MSRP at Automobile Magazine. Around $79k is a "realistic" price for a Supercharged Sport though.

although its 74k msrp i don't know anyone who actually pays that price, because you always talk them down and then it's just a matter of invoice price how close you get to the cost to the dealer because there is always mark up. Now when it comes to this 2011, I will not be getting any opotions what so ever i already just bought an X6 very nicely loaded but i got 10k off the sticker so im happy about that deal, however this is more of a quick fix to my crapped out 04HSE therefore i won't really be getting anything more than what comes standard its good enough as is. I just want to know what the cost is to the dealer, because dealerships will make money even if they sell you below invoice because they make money on moving cars, and in all honesty with gas prices going up there isn't anyway im gonna pay msrp for this vehicle i am definitely looking to drive the price down especially when im trading in my 04 which they will turn around and sell and make money on as well as the brand new RR sc that i buy

I work at the Rover store on the west coast and we do not discount RR S/Cs at all, there is a huge supply and demand issue, we only get 1 S/C sport a month and it makes no sense to give it away when they only last a few days on the lot. There is a reason why you got 10k off your X6, the market is flooded with BMWs and they can't give them away, but we are not even supposed to sell out of our area just because there are not enough cars to go around and keep local. If your local dealer is giving you 1500 over invoice you are WINNING, our sales person and sales manager would lose their job if they discount any new Rover more then $1k. Good luck, hope you end up with truck you are looking at, absolute night and day to your 04 HSE, you will not be disappointed!

good luck getting a new '11 S/C for under $74k... Check out the pricing threads on rangerovers.net/forum, and you'll see that there's almost zero chance of that happening. If you try to talk them down too far, they can easily (and will) just say "sorry, no thanks" then sell the truck to someone else in a matter of days.

yea, there's a definite lack of supply due to the SC engines. to the best of my knowledge, Ford can only make so many of them a year (i.e. not enough) thus very few supercharged RRs in inventory.

resale on the 510hp supercharged RRs, esp the sports, are very strong.

yeah true is a really balancing act, although i was just curious in the beginning because of the fact they were like like 1,500 over invoice and im like alright fine with me which was 69,500 or 69,700 with no options but now they saying its 71k so yeah i mean the difference isn't a big deal i was just wondering wtf is going on but yeah ill probably get it for 71
