you can't really compare the price of saying a 10 cayenne can be had for much less then 100k. It's a new body style, new everything.
Put it this way....the Range is an all around better car if you just wanna chill. It's got so much room, it's big and it's not I don't know how to put this. K both are sick cars but I feel like when I'm in my Range it's just a classier car then when I'm in the Cayenne. The Cayenne is so much more in your face then the Range. The Range just says I like a nice car while the Cayenne sorta screams look at me. That aside the porsche drives alot better on the highway.
When you're sitting in traffic on Burrard or Rollin up to Whistler you'll be much happier with the Range IMHO.
The cayenne is hot don't get me wrong. The new interior looks great, a huge step from the previous generation. I played with it in Geneva, but honestly it still looks like the same car more or less......
Get the Range

I have had both the cayenne turbo s the full size RR Sc along with several other nice modern SUVs. The only two I miss are the Range Rover and the G55. The RR was really the best all around truck.

I have had the Cayenne S and have driven the Cayenne turbo and GTS: all great SUVs. However, I made the decision to purchase the CY'10 RRS Supercharged 2 months also (I posted in this forum under White 2010 RRS with mods).
The CY'10 is a completely re-engineered rig; and for the money very hard to better (although the 2011 Cayenne is greatly improved also).
1. The RRS's new interior is incredible; sporty yet luxurious. The new instrument layout is fantasic. Sit in one and you will see what I mean.
2. The exterior refreshening is definitely improved, yet retains the classic RR look which I really like for not being too fashion trendy. Their timeless styling actually works in their favor, as far as I am concerned.
3. The new 510hp supercharged engine, direct from the Jag XFR; really rocks. True paddle shifters (up and down), and power galore.
4. With multiple ride settings, this thing is killer comfortable. The new seats are awesome, with perforated leather.
5. Then there is the price; for the money I could not ignore the difference. I am into the purchase at $73k, with a full leather interior (including dash, and ivory leather with black stitching). Then I had the body cladding color matched, painted all the grills black and some other stuff; put the rinspeed 22's with 305/22's on the truck. So I out about $85K. After I complete the mods (lowering module and power upgrade pulley and ECU remap); I should be at approx. $95K.
A fully modded 570hp (with power upgrade) RRS for $95k is hard to beat. Go RRS supercharged! J
