I got my first car at age 7 (obviously, I didn't pay for it). OP never said he PAID for the MB, but he did state his parents were a big help.
Is that easier to understand?

I got my first car a couple months before I turned 16, when I got my license.

I mentioned my age because I know most people on L4P are much older than me, and if anyone was wondering how old I am, they would know.

Are cars that much cheaper in the states that any 18yo semi employed college student can afford such luxury cars?

Great car buy the way and excellent taste, but I don't get how an 18yo can afford it!

The first car I've ever bought was an '05 Range Rover and I was 18 years old. This is in Canada where the vehicles are at a higher price.

Changed out the tail lights as it cracked.
