Perfect size for me, has a great turning radius, ok gas milage (I hover around 18mpg without a led foot), and been pretty reliable. Only issues I've had so far is in certain weather the doors make creaking sounds, I think it's temperature dependent and they seem to rub along the weather stripping, haven't been able to eliminate that noise, but also haven't heard it since winter. Sometimes the clock switches to 24hour time randomly, and there are a few other minor bugs in the multimedia system. A bracket for the drivers side door came loose and because it's some funny star shaped bolt I didn't have the tool and had to have the dealer tighten it back up. But other than those minor things it's been great. The engine is definitely powerful enough, it easily feels as quick as the X3 with the bigger engine, I guess due to gearing since it's rated at way less power. I live near NYC and don't drive when I go there too often but when I do this is really the perfect vehicle. The roads are crap there and you can literally just blast right down them over all the potholes and manhole covers (was a nightmare when I had my lowered M3). Also super easy to find parking cause of the tight turn radius and backup camera. I haven't tried it on the soft sandy beaches yet, but will report back once I do.
Well I had my doubts about it being a "real" Range Rover...with those electrical issues they are all lifted. It's a real RRover haha. Pretty neat cars, I just don't think I could drive one. A LR4 or RR is more me, than an Evoque but they do look good.
