If you push a car, then go fill up, it's basing the range on how you've been driving. Cruise along at 55mph for a little and it should go up.

This. I usually did 700-900 km (430-550 miles) with a full tank on a 2004 4.4 Range Rover Vogue. And those are known to have a bigger consumption than the new Rovers with Jaguar engines. If your range meter doesn't normalize itself after some driving, there must be something very wrong with your car.

In the Crossfire I get around 300 miles easy driving. The Jaguar gets me around 180-200 miles with one tank.
The tendency is to push it as far as you can!

I might win this one!!!! I get about 90 miles per tank...
6 miles per gallon and a 15 gallon tank

Still wouldn't trade my car for anything (except maybe a ford gt)

and the newer DFI engines get better mileage and put out more power than the old ones. efficiency (relatively speaking).
