Thread: LP560-4 or Superleggera ('08)?

Hello everyone,

I have been lurking these forums for a few years now and must say it has been a pleasure. I am starting to get more serious about my first real exotic purchase in the near future and am primarily interested in pre-owned Gallardos/LP560-4's. I am looking for some feedback on the LP560-4's and whether or not they are established as a significant improvement over the previous generation model, more specifically an '08 SL. Is there significantly newer technology in the >'09 models to justify?

The vehicle would be used as a weekend toy, it will not be tracked or raced. I feel like the the Superleggera will not be the right fit for my needs but I absolutely love all that carbon fiber. Any insight from those who have owned both or have researched this topic would be much appreciated.

lp560 beats all previous gallardo in every way. engine, transmission, exterior and launch control are much improved over 2008.

did u post on the lambo forums too?

djantlive - thank you for your input, I haven't posted on Lambo Power but have been casually searching the forum for experiences. I recognize your handle from there as well.
