Lamborghini's Aventadors changing redline
You learn something every day!
I noticed this today, the redline of the car changes as it warms up. Pretty cool stuff!
When you start the car and start driving the redline is at 5,500 RPM's

After a couple of minutes it changes to 6,800 RPM's

After about 4 minutes it changes again to 8,500 RPM's

I wish more cars had this. I know the E46M has it and i find it a nifty tool to help the motor save itself.

Yeah I believe All BMW Ms after the e39 have this but I may be mistaken. But I know e39 and e46 have it for sure. It's a pretty cool feature.

Yeah it's a very nice feature. It would be cool if I was able to make it work on a non M w/ the M gauge cluster.

Realistically you shouldn't even need that feature since you SHOULD be smart enough to drive the car easy until the oil + water temps are up to full operating temp. As others have said, BMW has been doing this for quite a while.

All M cars do this, it's a nice feature to save your engine. Thanks for sharing!
