    Default Upgrade to a Lambo

Hey, I was thinking of upgrading to a Lambo in the near future.. a murci is out of the question so I was thinking either a Diablo or G.. any up/downsides to the cars? opinions from owners would be appreciated.. thanks

depending on what you want to do with it, there can be a lot of ups and downs. Are you planning on daily driving it?

Early year Murci's can be had for under $200k.

    Just putting that out there.

I upgraded to a 2005 Gallardo egear with tons of goodies. It is an excellent platform with lots of power and corners really well. Coming from a 911, there is no comparison.

Gallardo is kind of like an Italian muscle car. Viper is deadly fast and powerful but if you are looking for more sophistication, the Gallardo may be the ticket. It is also very reliable compared to F360 or even F430. I know because my brother had a F360 and now owns a F458.

Diablo is much older and requires greater cost to upkeep. It is a very cool car but no as daily driveable as a Gallardo.

Gallardo! depending on your budget, one can be bad for around $100k, SL for $135k, LP-560 for around $160K+

Car would not be used as a DD, and the nearest dealership is 12h away.. Think I might go with a G, since it would probably be more reliable,, thanks

Transmission of the Gallardo isn't as important as getting an '06+ car. A stock '06 Gallardo is slightly slower than a '99 GTS ACR with cat deletes and muffler delete from a roll. If the AWD is pulled, the Gallardo is a whole new animal from a roll.
